<b>NSF </b><span><b>Climate Change Education Partnership (CCEP) Program, Phase II
  
     (CCEP-II):</b> The National Science Foundation has released the solicitation for the second phase of the CCEP program (<a href="http://www.nsf.gov/funding/pgm_summ.jsp?pims_id=503465" target="_blank">http://www.nsf.gov/funding/pgm_summ.jsp?pims_id=503465</a>). From the solicitation:<br>


<br></span><div style="margin-left:40px">The primary goal of this program is to foster in learners of all ages a deeper understanding of, and engagement with, the complex processes of the climate system and the potential impacts of a changing climate, through activities that lead to development, evaluation, dissemination, and increased adoption of effective, high quality educational programs and resources. An important secondary goal is to foster development of an innovative climate science and technology workforce for the future, through engagement, education, and training.<br>


</div><span><br>Awards are expected to be between $5 million and $6.25 million over five years. Letters of Intent (required) are due January 24, and full proposals are due March 21.<br></span><br>-- <br>
