[Somean] Lynne Tirrell visit

The Department of Near Eastern and South Asian Languages and Cultures is hosting a talk by Lynne Tirrell (https://lynne-tirrell.uconn.edu/), co-sponsored by Linguistics. Titled “Toxic Speech: Resisting Extremist Rhetoric”, it’s on Thursday Feb 29 at 4:00pm in Townshend Hall room 247. See the attached flyer and consider sharing it with your students if it’s relevant for your class.

Lynne will also be visiting Changelings that week and Ila has generously suggested that if you’d like to join in a meeting with Lynne, to let her know.
