<p class="MsoNormal"><b>The Great Lakes Aquaculture Collaborative is offering reimbursement to attend and/or present at state or regional aquaculture meetings in the Great Lakes states. <o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The Sea Grant <a href="https://greatlakesseagrant.com/aquaculture/">Great Lakes Aquaculture Collaborative</a> (GLAC) is a federally funded project that seeks to create a regionwide group to foster relevant, science based initiatives that
support aquaculture industries in the Great Lakes region that are environmentally responsible, competitive, and sustainable.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><o:p> </o:p></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Eligibility requirements.</b><o:p></o:p></p>
<ol style="margin-top:0in" start="1" type="1">
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Recipients include students, current and potential aquaculture producers, and aquaculture speakers from historically excluded or underrepresented groups in Great Lakes states. <o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Applicants must live or work primarily in a Great Lakes state (IL, IN, OH, MI, MN, NY, PA, VT, WI). <o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Recipients identify as part of an underrepresented group. This can include being a beginning aquaculture farmer.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Recipients must be 18 years or older.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Recipients are to use the reimbursement to attend one of the following aquaculture-related events:<o:p></o:p></li><ul style="margin-top:0in" type="circle">
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level2 lfo1">A state aquaculture association meeting in one of the Great Lakes states.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level2 lfo1">A Great Lakes state or Great Lakes regional American Fisheries Society Meeting.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level2 lfo1">A North Central Regional Aquaculture Center Conference.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level2 lfo1">An Aquaculture America Conference.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level2 lfo1">A Great Lakes state-specific aquaculture event. <o:p></o:p></li></ul>

<p class="MsoNormal">Funds will be reviewed and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants who receive funds will be provided with resources and mentorship prior to and during the aquaculture event they attend. <o:p></o:p></p>
