the American people. This initiative implements the vision set out by President Trump in Executive Order (E.O.) 13777, “Enforcing the Regulatory Reform Agenda.” <br>
<br>
Interior is seeking input from the public, and specifically from entities significantly affected by Federal regulations, on what Interior regulations may be appropriate for repeal, replacement, or modification because they:</span><span style="font-size:10.5pt; line-height:150%; font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif; color:#505050">
</span></p>
<ul type="disc">
<li class="MsoNormal" style="color:#505050; line-height:150%"><span style="font-size:10.5pt; line-height:150%; font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif">Eliminate jobs, or inhibit job creation;</span><span style="font-size:10.5pt; line-height:150%; font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif"></span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="color:#505050; line-height:150%"><span style="font-size:10.5pt; line-height:150%; font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif">Are outdated, unnecessary, or ineffective;</span><span style="font-size:10.5pt; line-height:150%; font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif"></span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="color:#505050; line-height:150%"><span style="font-size:10.5pt; line-height:150%; font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif">Impose costs that exceed benefits;</span><span style="font-size:10.5pt; line-height:150%; font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif"></span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="color:#505050; line-height:150%"><span style="font-size:10.5pt; line-height:150%; font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif">Create a serious inconsistency or otherwise interfere with regulatory reform initiatives and policies;</span><span style="font-size:10.5pt; line-height:150%; font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif"></span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="color:#505050; line-height:150%"><span style="font-size:10.5pt; line-height:150%; font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif">Rely, in part or in whole, on data or methods that are not publicly available or insufficiently transparent to meet

consumers, non-governmental organizations, and trade associations to provide input to improve Interior’s regulations.</span><span style="font-size:10.5pt; line-height:150%; font-family:"Helvetica",sans-serif"></span></li></ul>

Mining, Reclamation and Enforcement, Bureau of Reclamation, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and U.S. Geological Survey, and other agencies.<br>
