<div>We have grown out some of our fish in our RAS systems. We have not experienced any disease as long as we grow the fish from hatch and have been able to spur growth with adjustment of temperature. We have had great success in raising perch in scaled up aquaponic systems</div>

<div>Through trial, the selection of brood stock that produces predominately females also helps</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I have received many emails since my post this morning. I welcome the discussion, including any numbers that support or refute the notion that perch can be raised as food fish.</div>

<DIV dir=ltr>Just curious, is anyone here growing Yellow Perch in RAS or AP systems? They tend to grow slow and are very susceptible to disease. Does $4.05/lb sound like it would cover production costs, including getting your fish and ice slurry to Wisconsin?
