<p class="MsoNormal">Presented by the Alabama Cooperative Extension System in conjunction with the Auburn University School of Fisheries, Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences, Alabama-Mississippi Sea Grant Consortium and Gadsden State Community College. This 5-day
hands-on workshop is designed to show teachers how to use aquaculture and aquaponics as an educational platform. Historically it has attracted Career and Technical Education and Science teachers but it is open (and we encourage) other teachers to attend.
The best chance of establishing a successful school aquaculture program is to have a team of teachers that can implement cross-curricular activities. The cost of the workshop is $265 and includes over $400 worth of take home materials. For more information
