Many conventional aquaculture facilities are looking to the growth of aquaponics with interest. The pathway is very similar to aquaculture in that there are three areas that a new venture must go through. The first is the research phase, the second it the
transition phase and the third is profitability or success. The manner in which you approach each phase may determine if your project will survive. I will explain each sector and their relationship to each other. In addition I will touch on how conventional
aquaculture and aquaponics can merge, using a symbiotic relationship.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
