Fact sheet for the day is on culturing zooplankton for feeding larval fishes. As some states continue to struggle to meet demand (we are being told next spring will not be any better), and be hammered my mother nature, producers in our region will start to become more vertically integrated (meaning: broodstock -> eggs -> fry -> feed train fry -> fingerling production -> grow out).

There are many tradeoffs for feed training your own fish indoors versus outdoors. If you want to talk about some then join my office hours or reach out via email.
