Folks,

We are less than a week away from the 2022 Ohio Aquaculture Conference to be held January 28-29, 2022 at the Quest Conference Center in Columbus.  This email will serve as our final reminder. Please note we need to let the Conference Center know our final numbers for food on Tuesday.  So the registration deadline is noon on Tuesday, January 25th.  If you plan on attending, please register promptly.  We are all busy and if you are like me, things can fall thru the cracks.

A few notes on pandemic safety.  We have worked with the Quest to minimize attendee risk to the fullest extent possible.  We realize the final decision to attend is yours to make and we respect any decision you make.

1. Surgical masks will be available at the registration desk should you desire one.
2. The tradeshow has been moved to a larger room and individual exhibitors will be spaced apart as far as possible.
3. Presentation rooms and eating areas will have tables spaced at least six feet apart and only a few chairs at each table.
4. Meals will be served in two areas and we encourage attendees to space out in line should they so desire.

Also, do not forget there is a HAACP workshop on the Friday morning before the Conference starts. RSVP is required for lunch and you can register for the workshop on the OAA website. Conference starts at 1 PM.

Do not forget the Aquaculture / Aquaponics Visioning Session on Thursday night, January 27th at 7 PM at the Sheraton Four Points Hotel at Polaris.  If the future of Ohio aquaculture is important to you, I encourage you to attend if possible,  No RSVP required.
