Here is a description of what I'm looking for:

The aquaponics manager responsibilities will include:

  *   Testing water each day to make sure water is optimal for growing food and fish.
  *   Feeding fish and sizing fish.
  *   Growing and breeding fish.
  *   Emptying and harvesting fish waste.
  *   Maintenance of system.
  *   Harvesting vegetables.
  *   Planting vegetables.
  *   Delivering vegetables to end users.
  *   Growing new crops that end users are interested in.
  *   Doing tours for outside parties.

The potential employee does not have to be an expert in the aquaponics system however, they do have to be experienced in growing food and food handling safety!

We are into many different markets here.  If a potential employee is additionally interested in some of the different things we do, such as: Biochar and inoculation, vermicomposting, industrial composting, carboard and food waste collection, etc., I'd be happy to let them work in some of those different areas.

The job pays $20 per hour to start.  We are located in Burton, MI.
