I know there’s a ton of COVID-19 e-mails coming through Aqua-Ohio and SC-Aquaponics right now but as things come available I will be sharing them to make sure people know the resources that are out there. See below some info from IN IL Sea Grant. Some of the info on the Sea Grant Law Center’s website was already on the fact sheet I sent out the other day from Dr. Engle, but there’s other info as well.

The National Sea Grant Law Center has a webpage with COVID-19 resources for fisheries and aquaculture businesses and independent contractors (http://nsglc.olemiss.edu/covid19/<https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://nsglc.olemiss.edu/covid19/__;!!KGKeukY!i5ViSZYB2pP9bga8ZJMs-XxwC60pj5J03cNhUJslqm7MCblTY5ZepESEE58N7ccyLMEfVw$>). The CARES ACT programs have limited funding. First come first serve. If your stakeholders are interested in applying for programs they should get in contact with their bank or lawyer as soon as possible. If they do not have an existing relationship with a banker or lawyer it is recommended to contact the SBA.
