[Sc-aquaponics] Fwd: Ohio Aquaculture Cooperative Meeting Reminder

All,

Just a reminder that the Ohio Aquaculture Association (OAA) in conjunction
with the OSU South Centers will be holding an exploratory meeting about
forming aquaculture cooperatives in Ohio on Saturday, December 16th.  The
meeting is scheduled from 9:45 AM to 2 PM and lunch will be provided
courtesy of the Ohio Soybean Council.

Why attend?  Simply put, our industry is composed largely of small, family
owned operations who alone, lack the buying power to get equipment and
materials at reduced costs and to develop new markets that benefit all of
us.  Working cooperatively allows us to purchase at lower cost and pool
product together to serve current markets and open new markets.
