All,

we all know processing is limited in Ohio. If your farm (or a group of farmers) have interest then there are USDA led workshops regarding the Value Added Producer Grant coming up very soon throughout the state. There is matching and it is competitive nationwide but might be of interest to some in this region. I will be at the OSU South Centers workshop. We have four opportunities scheduled around  the State to learn more about how the Value Added Producer Grant can be used to help develop and market a product that will bring additional income back to your farm operation.    Bring your questions and ideas and get any questions you have answered.



These workshops are designed to help you understand the application requirements.  We will discuss what a good application contains and help you put your best foot forward.



There is no charge for the workshop and RSVP is not required.  We look forward to meeting you and assisting you with your project.
