All,

an aquaponics position is available in Jamaica! See below and attached for more information on the term position. It does look like they are requiring someone with a Master's but worth looking into if interested.

Happy Friday!

Matt

Dear Dr. Tidwell,

I am reaching out to you in hopes that you can help recommend potential candidates - or forward this email to colleagues - for an immediate opening we have for an aquaponics program manager based in Jamaica for a period of 3 years. I am with the non-profit INMED Partnerships for Children, Seattle office.

INMED Partnerships for Children, an NGO working primarily in Latin America and the Caribbean and southern Africa, has pioneered a simplified, relatively low cost version of aquaponics for small-scale producers in developing/emerging countries for food security and economic opportunity. We have been implementing this for approximately 10 years, and now have a wonderful opportunity to scale the program through a grant from the Multilateral Investment Fund of the InterAmerican Development Bank. The program strengthens and integrates the whole value chain, from aquaponics training to links to markets and financing.

A scope of work for this immediately available position is attached. I would also be delighted to speak with you if you would like to discuss this personally. You can read more about our work in aquaponics at https://inmed.org/what-we-do/changeadaptive-agriculture-and-aquaponics/

Thank you for your assistance,
Kristin
