Information attached regarding  a spring outbreak of VHS in the Great Lakes.  Concern had been expressed that previous regulatory action on VHS caused problems within the industry.  It is important to remember that VHS prevention in aquaculture, like all diseases of concern, is an important aspect of biosecurity, BMPs and due diligence.
