[Sc-aquaponics] New Zealand Aquaponics Report

There is a lot of discussion around this recent report out of New Zealand.  The overall consensus of the report seems to indicate that aquaponics is not yet viable on a commercial scale.  However, upon reading the report, my personal opinion is that they really don’t have enough long-term data to conclude that.  Many of the businesses that they highlighted were not what I would consider “commercial” scale yet.

Anyway, the good news is that the report is filled with great information about the small, but growing, aquaponics industry in New Zealand.  It gives a great overview of many of the production and management issues that aquaponics people need to deal with.  In that regard, it’s a great resource.  Please read it and let your opinions be known.
