Spring is finally here in Ontario and we hope that all of you are experiencing warmer weather in most of Canada.

We are making preparations for the 2 Day Aquaponics Workshop on May 26, 27, 2014 to be held at the University of Guelph and a new build course on May 28, 2014.

In this one day build workshop, Meg Stout will demonstrate how to build an aquaponics system for your backyard or classroom using easy to find and locally sourced materials.

In this workshop you will watch her build a hybrid aquaponics system with both a media bed and deep water culture (raft).  She will show you how to make a swirl filter with a 10 gallon bucket and how to build a hoop house to house the entire system.

Meg Stout is the author of Aquaponics for Dummies and the Chair of the Aquaponics Association.
