On March 28th, a preeminent world expert of direct heat-use Dr. John Lund<http://www.cangea.ca/direct-use-workshop-march-28th-with-dr-john-lund/> will be leading this workshop in Calgary as an element of the annual CanGEA geothermal energy conference<http://www.cangea.ca/2014conference/>. Dr. Lund literally wrote the book about geothermal direct heat-use and is sought around the globe to for his expertise on geothermal applications. This is the first time that an expert of his caliber has been brought to Canada to spread practical, applicable knowledge such as this.

The purpose of this workshop will introduce fundamental principles and step by step processes used around the world to tap heat directly from the earth for use in your aquaculture growing environment:
* Understand direct use applications (aquaculture, greenhouses, district heating, etc.)
* Opportunities for project development in Canada
*  Project financing tools
* Tools & methodologies to develop a direct use project
* Real-world examples and Case Studies

This is truly an incredible opportunity because geothermal heat never runs out, is clean, renewable and provides long-term, low cost heating solutions for your operation.

CanGEA hopes to see yourself along with other members from the aquaculture community there!

Please also consider sharing this invitation with others in your network who you think may be interested in getting involved with geothermal direct use in Canada.
