Make it your self.
Go to aquarium or aqua plant store and purchase the liner.
Drain can be in bottom or side.
My drain is adjustable on side.(see drain) Leave a sliding board at opposite end of drain. Can pull it up and drain and clean the whole system. (see east side)( see raceway see handle) The glass has protected my plants from hail as I an north of Ohio. The south panes of glass slow the south wind and my green house shields from north wind.
My system is insulated. (see image 6209) (see how fat the sides are)?I hope to grow plants out side but inside the raceway till November.
If you see the greenhouse, I have 20,000 liters of ground water here, in a cistern. The garage rain water fills the system as needed. I have never used tap water.
Width of the race way is the width of the floating material purchased at the store. Make it an inch wider on both sides for ease of sliding.
I have fish both here and under my plants. A buddy wanted to get rid of his gold fish this spring. Instead of placing them in an aquarium inside he dumped them into my raceway.
The fish tank water in the heated green house is pumped under ground into the raceway through the drain. The outflow water goes into the cistern. I water all my out side plants and orchard occasionally with the fish tank water. This lowers the cistern before a storm. The storm fills the cistern with clean water.
Too bad I have to work. I would like to manage my orchard and play at home but there are other things to worry about.
The cistern is lined with limestone. I hope this neutralizes the acid rain coming from Ohio. (Just kidding about Ohio) You can give the high school my e-mail if requested..
Señor James
