The First Friday Tour for July will be Wednesday July 3rd, 2013.  Please let us know if you would like to attend.

The Ohio State University is pleased to offer informational tours of our Aquaculture Research Facility in Piketon, Ohio. Our First Friday Aquaculture Tours are typically scheduled for the first Friday of each month.  The first tour for 2013 will be March 1st and continue until October 4, 2013.

The tour starts at 10:00am and ends at 12:00 noon.  The tour includes an overview of the research conducted here at OSU and a tour of our facilities including research laboratories and working fish hatchery.  The highlights include discussion on the Aquaculture Industry in Ohio, various production methods, and popular Ohio species of fish, their management and nutrition.  A large part of the tour is outside, so dress appropriately.  Picture taking is encouraged.  Simply call or send an email letting me know which day you would like to sign up for and if you need directions.  The tour is free and open to all.
