Fresh Harvest Farm, an aquaponic greenhouse in Richwood, OH is having an open farm tour for the public to visit this Saturday, June 15th from 12-2 p.m. Anyone interested can get more info and directions from our website www.freshharvestfarmllc.com<http://www.freshharvestfarmllc.com>.

Fresh Harvest Farms was established in June of 2011 as an agricultural business dedicated to growing chemical free produce with aquaponics in a commercial size greenhouse and teaching others how to grow food using this type of sustainable agriculture. Fresh Harvest Farm is located in Union County Ohio on approximately four acres of land. Aquaponics combines aquaculture (raising fish in contained environment) and hydroponics (growing in a recirculating water system). This type of growing system provides a natural fertilizer for plants and an IPM is used for pest control allowing for a chemical free product. Fresh Harvest Farm is owned by Doug and Jeni Blackbburn.
