I love to visit this facility. Barry is so innovative in his approach to food production. I encourage you to go, especially if you are interested in small scale aquaponics systems and green energy.

It's that time of year again! Come see how clean energy is being used to grow fresh, locally grown food year-round.

You're invited to stop by for our spring open greenhouse tours at RainFresh Harvests on Saturday, May 11th between 10 am - 3 pm and will be available to answer your questions -- no charge, it's all free.

A second tour this spring will also be in coordination with Green Energy Ohio's Spring Tour on Friday, May 17th between 2:30 - 4:30 pm. Also free and open to the public. This second tour will focus on the renewable energy systems.

This fall marks over 8 years of operation of the renewable energy systems.

See how Clean Energy is helping to grow crops year-round, off-the-grid, in a biointegrated greenhouse that is powered by renewable energy.

You will be able to see solar photovoltaic panels (2.1 kW) and a wind turbine (1.0 kW) produce electricity, as well as a solar thermal system for heating. Also featured are aquaponics, worm composting and other sustainable agriculture practices.

Thanks to all of the support by customers that are asking for fresh locally grown food, and to the grocers and chefs that make the effort to buy locally.

Our partners in getting our harvests to you this past season included: Northstar Cafe Restaurants (3 of their 4 locations, including the Cafes at the Short North and Beechwold, and Third and Hollywood), Whole Foods (2 locations, in Dublin and Upper Arlington, now also in the Prepared Foods area in Dublin), Luna Burger, the Greener Grocer, J. Liu (2 locations, in Dublin and Worthington), Made From Scratch, Kihachi Japanese Restaurant, Matt the Miller's Tavern (Grandview), Rigsby's, Tucci's, Otterbein College, Little Eater and Darista Cafe .

Since parking is limited, if possible, please car pool. Directions and more information may be found on our website www.rainfreshharvests.com<http://www.rainfreshharvests.com/>

Please feel free to share this invitation with others that may want to visit our facility.

The second open house on May 17th is being held in coordination with the 2012 Green Energy Ohio Tour which is also free and open to the public with renewable energy and energy efficiency sites located around Dublin, Powell and northwest of Columbus areas.

Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday the 11th or Friday the 17th,
The Adlers
