which are new to gen chem. To activate the mixer, students just need to press their centrifuge tube down into the top cone. It will turn off when pressure is released. Waste is as expected, liquids and chemical solids go in the white can, rinsed plastic tubes
in the blue bucket. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

probe shaft to cushion it from the glass storage tube and help seal in the storage solution. These should stay at the top of the probes while the students are taking readings. </span><span style="color:#212121;mso-ligatures:none"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

The students will be sanding the oxidation layer off the electrodes with emery paper/cloth. This should be done on the provided cover stock; the cover stock should be placed on the provided black plastic tray. The whole sanding procedure should be done under
a snorkel. Each room has been provided with 7 trays since they only have 7 snorkels. <i><u>Students should not be sanding directly on the lab bench. </u></i>Doing this makes me sad :(</span><span style="color:#212121;mso-ligatures:none"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

over the summer, but will return for fall, will be terminated at the end of the semester. Anyone that is working over the summer will be terminated at the end of the summer semester. This will be done so that we can put everyone into new positions that have
a differential pay scale based on your start date. Starting pay will be $13/hr. After one calendar year students will be paid $13.50. Students top out after two calendar years, or a promotion to a lead student assistant, with a pay rate of $14.00/hr.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
