be sanding the oxidation layer off the electrodes with emery paper/cloth. This should be done on the provided cover stock; the cover stock should be placed on the provided black plastic tray. The whole sanding procedure should be done under a snorkel. Each
room has been provided with 7 trays since they only have 7 snorkels.<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i><u>Students should not be sanding directly on the lab bench.

asks for more please direct them back to their room. There are two solutions being kept in the large fume hoods. The TAs will be putting a small amount of these into beakers with lids. If for some reason a new or additional beaker or lid is needed, they are
