<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="color:#212121;mso-ligatures:none">PPG/QUL-</span></b><span style="color:#212121;mso-ligatures:none"> We’re expecting to go through more than 100,000 test tubes and small corks this week. The new rooms all have a significant
stash of corks and test tubes behind their white boards. The old rooms will need to obtain more from the window. If the window start to get low on either of these items, please call/text for more so that we are ready to go.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#212121;mso-ligatures:none">As Alec mentioned on Friday, please do not give out the entire plastic box of unknowns. For PPG, each TA will get one small box of PPG-W unknowns, and one small box of PPG-B unknowns. For QUL,
each TA only get one box of QUL unknowns. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="color:#212121;mso-ligatures:none">WST</span></b><span style="color:#212121;mso-ligatures:none">- pH meters again…Students and pH meters don’t always get along. pH meters with probes are on the reagent carts. If a student
claims their pH meter is “broken”, they should have their TA try to calibrate it before bringing it to the window for an exchange. Sophie and Alec will have replacements in the windows. “Broken” meters should be placed in the labeled bin so that one of the
prep lab staff can check them and make any necessary repairs. Extra wetting caps are available in each window, these are the little bottles that the probe tips are stored in. We also have extra storage solution, the liquid that goes into the wetting cap, in
each window if needed.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#212121;mso-ligatures:none"> <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="color:#212121;mso-ligatures:none">XUF Day 2</span></b><span style="color:#212121;mso-ligatures:none">- Alec and Sophie moved a large instrument into Hood A of 330. It includes a tank of acetylene. While the instrument is
in this hood, the orange bucket will temporarily be placed under the hood.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

in Celeste during the first part of April in 2022 may recall this smell. If you need a break from the odor, please feel free to step outside for some fresh air.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
