<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">We all know the importance of mental health. Many of us have experienced mental health related issues in our own lives. Students face enormous challenges while working on their degrees, and it is often difficult
to maintain an appropriate work life balance and avoid burnout. Staff and faculty face similar pressures.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Seeking treatment for mental health is not a stigma. Mental health is just like physical health – if you have a sprained ankle, why would you not see a doctor who can help heal your ankle.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">In an effort to provide even more resources, OSU’s Counseling and Consultations Service (CCS) has been working to
<i>embed</i> clinical therapists within departments in the College of Arts and Sciences.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Beverly is a licensed social worker (LSW) and has a master’s degree in public health from the University of Toledo and a master’s degree in social work from Boise State University.
