From braig.1 at osu.edu Wed Feb 14 09:58:18 2024 From: braig.1 at osu.edu (Braig, Eugene) Date: Wed, 14 Feb 2024 14:58:18 +0000 Subject: [Pond-management-news] FW: Flyer for Public Plant Camp In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: Greetings pond/lake friends, Please forgive me. I've used this listserv too rarely in recent times. I'm planning to make greater use in the coming season. ...And you all are welcome to post relevant bits to this list yourselves. I'd like this to be a big and pondy community. The attached was shared by Mark Warman, a botanist friend with the Cleveland Metroparks. Note that the physical events are occurring at Pymatuning spanning the Ohio-Pennsylvania; however, they're being broadcast to the web as well. If you've ever been curious about the plants growing on and in your pond, and reluctant to reach out to somebody like me about what they might be (because of my remoteness, likely tardiness of communication, etc.), check out these workshops and enjoy! If any of you do, I'm very curious about your impressions. Best, Eugene [The Ohio State University] Eugene C. If you can think of any potentially interested parties, would you please forward the attachment? They have space for 30 participants and plan to stream it, too. So unlimited registration available for remote attendees.
