I’m the Water Management Association of Ohio’s (WMAO’s) immediate past president and continue to serve on their conference committee (as well as a past president of one of WMAO’s divisions, the Ohio Lake Management Society…and am the long-serving advisor to their student affiliate at OSU, TerrAqua).  If your programming intersects water and its management in any way, please consider submitting an abstract to share your work among professional peers at our annual conference in the coming fall.  The initial deadline is only approx. one week away; however, I’m fairly confident that deadline will be extended.

51st Annual WMAO Meeting & Symposium



November 8 & 9, 2022

Crowne Plaza Columbus North-Worthington, 6500 Doubletree Avenue, Columbus



The Clean Water Act (CWA) is the primary federal law in the United States governing water pollution. Its objective is to restore and maintain the chemical, physical, and biological integrity of the nation's waters. Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the CWA act has dramatically cut pollution in U.S. waterways. It has raised awareness of the problem of water pollution and in doing so, has been the impetus for a lot of the work that water resources organizations do in Ohio.



You’re invited to help celebrate this half-century milestone and continue WMAO's valuable legacy by submitting an abstract about your water-related achievements for presentation at the WMAO 51st Annual Meeting and Symposium.
