As predicted, the deadline to submit abstracts has been extended, now to 30 July 2022 (please scroll to the bottom for detail).  I hope some of you opt to submit and that the deadline extension might facilitate.

To remind you, WMAO (affectionately pronounced “wammo”) stands for the Water Management Association of Ohio.  WMAO’s programming is extremely diverse, spanning several interest areas and affiliated professional organizations (as WMAO) divisions.  Check us out: https://wmao.org/.  If your work specifically intersects water or aquatic resources in any substantial way, you belong among us and are welcome.

51st Annual WMAO Meeting & Symposium



November 8 & 9, 2022

Crowne Plaza Columbus North-Worthington, 6500 Doubletree Avenue, Columbus



The Clean Water Act (CWA) is the primary federal law in the United States governing water pollution. Its objective is to restore and maintain the chemical, physical, and biological integrity of the nation's waters. Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the CWA act has dramatically cut pollution in U.S. waterways. It has raised awareness of the problem of water pollution and in doing so, has been the impetus for a lot of the work that water resources organizations do in Ohio.



You’re invited to help celebrate this half-century milestone and continue WMAO's valuable legacy by submitting an abstract about your water-related achievements for presentation at the WMAO 51st Annual Meeting and Symposium.
