[Pond-management-news] Extension symposium on harmful algal blooms

I'm one of the organizers of Extension's North Central Region's coming free Virtual Harmful Algal Bloom Symposium running 6-7 January 2021: https://northcentralwater.org/habsymposium/.  Because of my involvement, several friends (including a couple Ohio State researchers) are represented on the agenda, and the agenda is diverse-spanning natural-resources management, agricultural interests, and even municipal water: https://northcentralwater.org/files/2020/12/HABs-Symposium-Schedule.pdf.  Of particular interest to local pond/lake managers may be the first day's presentation on algaecide applications by Dail Laughinghouse.  Registration numbers have already far exceeded expectations, but still feel free to register and attend yourselves if the program would be useful to you.
