<span style="font-size: 11pt; color: rgb(33, 33, 33);" class="">Luis Casian will be stepping down from his position as divisional dean for the natural and mathematical sciences at the end of this month. After a leave next spring, he will resume his faculty
duties in the Math Department where he is a professor and former chair. Luis has served the college with dedication and excellence for many years, as a researcher and educator, a champion of state wide math education efforts, a superb chair of the department
of mathematics, and a committed dean of NMS. We are deeply grateful to him for the contributions he has made to the college, the university and the state.</span><span style="font-size: 11pt;" class=""><o:p class=""></o:p></span></div>

We are fortunate that he is willing to take on these additional duties for the next few months. A new dean of NMS will be selected this spring to begin in the fall of 2020.</span><span style="font-size: 11pt;" class=""><o:p class=""></o:p></span></div>
