<b>Details:</b><br>
<br>
During the regular monthly maintenance window on Tuesday, April
16,<br>
from 8:00 PM until midnight, ASCTech will be moving Physics Linux
home<br>
directories to a new fileserver to improve NFS performance. This
means<br>
that any processes accessing Linux home directories on the ASCTech<br>
server will hang, and probably also cause the computer to hang.<br>
Killing running jobs and logging out should prevent most problems.<br>
<br>
If a Linux computer is not working correctly after that time, try<br>
rebooting it. If you still have problems, please report them to<br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="mailto:action@physics.osu.edu">action@physics.osu.edu</a>.<br>

This does not affect Windows or Apple computers.<br>
