<p class="MsoNormal">During the months of April and May supervisors are asked to meet one on one with their staff and complete an annual performance review, to discuss the past year’s performance and set goals for the new performance period. Performance Review
documents are due on <b><u><span style="background:yellow;mso-highlight:yellow">Friday, May 17, 2019.</span>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><u>Position Description:</u></b><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The employee’s current position description will be sent later for review and use with the Annual Performance Review process. The position description should be reviewed annually as part of the performance review process to ensure job duties
are in-line with priorities, and time spent on specific duties reasonably match the position description breakdown. If changes are needed, please make edits on the position description, or in a word document and submit these with the completed performance
review packet. Physics HR will then work with the supervisor directly to make the needed updates. <b>Please note, if you are on a visa, any position description update will require a visa update. Any changes to a position description for an H-1B Visa holder
require a new visa petition. Please email Physics HR for more details. </b><o:p></o:p></p>

While this process may seem focused on documentation, the meetings and conversations between
supervisors and staff are still the most important component. <o:p></o:p></li></ol>
