<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Georgia","serif"">Abstract: Neutrinos, the elementary particles only sensed via "weak force", are so unique. They are penetrating matters no matter how dense they are. Some of them are even running
from the core of the Sun and hitting your body hundred thousands of billions of times every second. One neutrino was caught last January this year at Antarctica. It is nothing strange, but one remarkable finding makes this neutrino very singular: Its energy
was 1,000,000,000 times higher than these coming from the Sun. It is the world record in the history of neutrino measurements. There are many indications that it is coming from space beyond the solar system, possibly even beyond our Galaxy. We now have a
new tool to explore our Universe at the energy band thousands of trillion times higher than the visible light. In this talk, we discuss why energetic neutrinos are so powerful to understand the high energy universe, and how we are detecting them. A few hypothesis
to explain our observations are finally presented. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
