<p class="MsoNormal">At 12:59 am this morning a set of belts failed on Air Handler 1 (lab side – south end).<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Third shift FOD maintenance teams and the PRB building coordinator responded to the problem and the units were back online not later than 3:00 am.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">An unplanned outage will take place early tomorrow morning (Thursday, Sept 1) between 7:00 am and 10:00 am as a follow-up and double-check to this repair effort.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">While the units are down tomorrow, a complete new set of belts will be installed.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The outage is expected to last less than 2 hours with the goal to have normal service restored before 10:00 am.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Occupants on the lab side, south end that are served by Air Handler 1 are asked to take necessary steps to plan for this outage.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">A follow-up message indicating that repairs are finished will be sent after FOD completes the work.<o:p></o:p></p>
