<p class="MsoNormal">I thought Donna Strickland’s visit for the 60<sup>th</sup> annual Alpheus Smith Lecture was a great success.

<p class="MsoNormal">A huge thanks goes to Ruth Leonard who organized and planned this event. It was a tremendous amount of work, and I am very grateful to the significant effort over multiple months she put into making this event a success.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">In addition, a big thanks to Jessie Middleton for organizing the hugely popular Student Social with Dr. Strickland, Terry Bradley and Bryan Dunlap for running a flawless lecture, to Mark Reed, Phil Davids, June Sprowls and Kris Dunlap for
managing logistics, and to Lindsey Thaler for preparing the posters. What a great team effort.</p>
