<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none">Assisting the department in recognizing excellence in our teaching mission we also have the William R. Riley Excellence in Teaching Physics Development Fund that was established for the purposes of recognizing
teaching excellence in recitation or lab sections of Physics classes over the past two years and is named for one of our retired professors, Bill Riley. Based on input from SEIs, undergraduate students, graduate student peers, and
<span style="color:black">supervisors </span>we<span style="color:black"> </span>
are <span style="color:black">pleased to announce</span> the two awardees for a William R. Riley Excellence in Teaching Physics Award
