<p class="MsoNormal">Beginning at delivery arrival, end users incur costs for the gas itself and for the time they hold the cylinder.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The attached PDF reminds users of the perforated tag system used for each cylinder and highlights four abandoned cylinders left without tags that continue to accumulate demurrage costs.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The Department encourages all groups to familiarize themselves with gas cylinder procurement processes to avoid unnecessary costs and reminds gas cylinder users of the following key expectations:<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">1.) Be aware of inbound deliveries of tanks ordered and retrieve them in a timely fashion (less than 2 weeks).<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">2.) Take care to retain the attached cylinder tag at all times, including and most importantly, when returning the empty tank back to the transfer rack area.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">3.) Be familiar with the intent of the tag system and use the Full / In Use / Empty perforations to indicate the current status of the tank.<o:p></o:p></p>
