Taylor & Francis are seeking to recruit an Editor-in-Chief<https://think.taylorandfrancis.com/tcyt-callforeditor-in-chief/> for CyTA: Journal of Food, a fully Open Access Food Science & Technology journal. We are seeking a well-established academic with an international reputation for excellence in research, a true passion for communication, high-level English language proficiency, and prior editorial experience working for an Open Access scientific journal. Interested candidates are requested to provide the following three documents:

  *   Current CV
  *   Covering letter
  *   A vision statement including the candidate's assessment of CyTA's potential for future development and growth.

Hi Dr. Lee,

Dr. Clydesdale, the Editor of Critical Reviews in Food Science & Nutrition, suggested I contact you. I am the Portfolio Manager in Food Science & Technology for Taylor & Francis. T&F is in the process of re-launching one of our Open Access journals, CyTA: Journal of Food. One of the first steps in this process is to hire a new Editor who will work with us toward implementing the editorial vision behind the relaunch. At the bottom of the landing page is the following summary of our plan for the journal: "CyTA will be relaunching under a broad-based, multidisciplinary, and forward-looking vision, and with the mission to cover both existing and emerging areas of research in all disciplines relating to the scientific study of food. Areas of interest will include, but will not be limited to: foodomics and food bioinformatics; food composition, nutrition, & human health; food choice; food materials, processing, & engineering; food conservation, safety, & security; food systems in their organization & function; food systems in their relation to governance & public health; emerging technologies & methods in food research; and, the role of data science, statistics, & analytics in food research."

Dr. Clydesdale informed me that you are the moderator of a Food Science Listserv. Thus, it is my hope that you would consider posting the Call for Editors to the Listserv. Moreover, if you know of other people who might be willing to share the Call for Editors, that would be wonderful. Alternatively, if there are people you think I should contact directly, just let me know. I'm also open to suggestions-the most important thing is that we get the word out.
