<p>And you know, as a teenager, I worked at a camp near Port Jervis, NY, which is a stone's throw from Matamoras, PA, on the banks of the mighty Delaware river!</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">My wrist started hurting in January and was talking about it in front of an anesthesiologist in the ASC. He promptly escorted me to the OR suite next door where a hand surgeon was finishing a case. The hand surgeon did an exam, gave me
a diagnosis, and told me to wear a splint while waiting for my already-scheduled appointment with a “grown up” hand surgeon. Took 2 minutes.

<p class="MsoNormal">This week I have been feeling dizzy (flu? vertigo?) and this morning, walked over to ENT at 8:00, and promptly one of the ENT attendings was doing an exam and a maneuver on me and gave me a signed referral for a “grown up” ENT appointment
at OSU, though he thinks the dizziness could also be from neck muscle tension… Took 5 minutes.

<p class="MsoNormal">I am so grateful to be in the midst of a lot of wonderful, smart people here at NCH and I can only hope that we in Dentistry are as hospitable as others have been to me. </p>
