John Merrill (Director of First Year Engineering Programs) and Professor Jen Gilbride-Brown (Senior Lecturer, Higher Education & Student Affairs). Professor Merrill has considerable experience leading students on international service-learning programs; over
the past several years, his engineering cohorts have worked with </span><a href="http://www.montanadeluz.org/"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:windowtext;text-decoration:none">Montana de Luz</span></a><span style="font-size:11.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"">,
a hospice and orphanage for children with HIV/AIDS in Honduras. Professor Gilbride-Brown teaches the Education Policy & Leadership graduate course (EDUPL 7558) on administering service-learning programs and oversees the implementation of the undergraduate
service-learning course (EDUPL 2571). She is currently designing an international service-learning experience in Ecuador. This panel discussion will take place on October 25th from 12-1pm at 156 University Hall. This event is a part of the Education Abroad
