Service-Learning 101: Designing Service-Learning into Your Course
The Office of Service-Learning and UCAT invite you to join us for a session on the basics of service-learning on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 3pm-4:30pm in 150 Younkin Success Center.  This workshop will help instructors and departmental staff understand what service-learning is and what goes into planning and developing a service-learning course offering.  We'll also discuss examples of current courses at Ohio State and how OSL and UCAT can support your efforts.  Please feel free to share this opportunity with your colleagues.

Service-Learning Coffee Hour
Join the Office of Service-Learning and Student Life for an informal networking opportunity over morning refreshments on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 9am in the Ohio Union Maudine Cow Room (basement).  Jake Cohen from Student Life will provide a brief overview of the co-curricular service opportunities and shared resources that may benefit your service-learning efforts.  Our Coffee Hour events are a great opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the university with a shared interest in service-learning!

Connect and Collaborate Grants Information Session
Join the Office of Outreach & Engagement, Office of Service-Learning, Undergraduate Research Office, OSU Extension, and Office of International Affairs for an information session on the Connect and Collaborate Grants on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 11am in Hale Hall, Room 110A.  Together, these grants provide more than $1 million in multiple and diverse funding opportunities to catalyze engaged, collaborative teaching and research with the goal of enhanced impact.
