Good news from the ODE for summer STEM participants in Appalachian regions of Ohio:<br>
     "Applications for the 2021 Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC)/Oak Ridge National Laboratory Summer STEM Programs and Appalachian Entrepreneurial Academy [are] now are available. Public middle and high school students and public high school teachers in the 32-county Appalachia region are encouraged to apply by the March 1 deadline.<br>
     "The ARC/Oak Ridge Summer STEM Program is a residential learning experience connecting high school and middle school students and high school teachers with award-winning scientists at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Students will gain exposure to applied science and STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), while teachers will work to develop STEM-related curriculum. The program will take place June 19-July 2 for high school students and teachers, and from June 26-July 2 for middle school students."<br>
