OAGC has been in communication with ODE and the state board about it in some fashion or another for more than a year. Please take a look at some of the advocacy alerts on OAGC’s webpage about this beginning with last May. If you have concerns about the list - what is on it, what isn’t on it, communication about it, the process for approvals - I encourage you to make those concerns known to ODE.</div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">Colleen Boyle</div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr"><br>On Feb 21, 2019, at 1:54 PM, June Allred-Smith via Ohiogift <<a href="mailto:ohiogift@lists.osu.edu">ohiogift@lists.osu.edu</a>> wrote:<br><br></div><blockquote type="cite"><div dir="ltr">

<div>I am greatly concerned about the very limited new list of approved assessments. For additional assessment, after my districts screen with Iowa and CogAT, I have administered the Stanford Achievement and/or the Otis Lennon. Based on the ODE list, I can
no longer use them and will need to order new assessments. Our ESC just recently purchased these two tests, at great expense!</div>
<div style="direction: ltr;">My question to the group is have you been told by anyone at ODE to directly contact vendors and ask them to apply for placement on the approved list? I heard this second hand and want to verify.</div>
