Biennial Budget Information<br>
<br>
The Ohio House Finance Primary and Secondary Education Committee finished up<br>
hearings this week. To review all budget documents related to the state budget,<br>
please go [1]www.oagc.com/?q=statebudget . A new[2]Advocacy Alert is also<br>
available. As the General Assembly will be heading into Spring break, these<br>
alerts will not be posted until again until the second week of April unless<br>
something unexpected develops. Gifted advocates need to continue to contact<br>
House representatives and Senators now to let them know that the funding and<br>
accountability provisions for gifted included in HB 59 as introduced need<br>
substantial work to be adequate for this population.<br>

Educating Our Brightest<br>

A joint event between the Fordham Foundation and the Ohio Association for Gifted<br>
Children will be held at the Columbus Museum of Art on March 20, 2013. If you<br>

Fall Conference Call for Proposal is Due March 31, 2013<br>

The OAGC Fall Conference call for proposal is now available at the following<br>
link along with nomination forms for the art auction and general awards.<br>
