My district, where we currently serve middle schoolers, is looking at ways to add elementary gifted services in the next year or two without adding staff. Current considerations include acceleration, clustering, and blending grades for a self-contained
classroom.

Does anyone out there have recent experience with any of these service models at 1-4 grade levels? I'm looking for feedback on the effectiveness of these options as well as suggestions for any other service models we should investigate. I will also need
research to back any proposal, so if you have research to back your experiences / ideas, that would also be appreciated.

Feel free to contact me directly at gren_ebert@tccsa.net. Thanks!
