<div>I have written on this issue on ohiogiftlist years ago - just not in a book. Thanks for the tip on the book. I know I also linked an article a few years ago on ohiogiftlist about research that many high IQ children (most of whom are supposedly introverts) rejuvenate their brains better and produce more when they have some solitude. I know many of us feel solitude can relax and refresh and that non-stop socialization (overrated by many) is fatiguing.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Getting back to my messages years ago on ohiogiftlist, I pointed out I thought schools provided too much of a nosiy circus atmosphere for most students to learn, beginning with the noisy bus rides to school, changing classes every hour or less with noisy bells, intercom announcements, and even pep rallies in the old days (do they still do those?) The book I also mentioned years ago "Schools that do too much" pointed out some of these issues as well.</div>
