If academic credit benefits you, the two semester hours earned through participation DO apply to the endorsement (Programming strand).  APSI participants who enroll in EDTL:5080 receive an automatic 50% tuition scholarship (based on the cost graduation tuition-those registered as undergraduates receive a smaller scholarship).  Those who prefer Iowa Licensure Renewal Units can register for those (scroll down the page on the link above for both Academic Credit Options and Licensure Renewal Units).
