|   Applicants sought for list of approved assessments The Ohio Department of Education is seeking vendor proposals in response to the department’s Common Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Assessments for use by Ohio school districts in the following areas:    
   - Comparable Assessments to Ohio’s K-3 Diagnostic Assessment for the Third Grade Reading Guarantee (K-3 Diagnostic)  
   - Comparable Assessments to Ohio’s K-3 Diagnostic Assessment for the Third Grade Reading Guarantee with Dyslexia Screening (K-3 Diagnostic/Dyslexia Screener)  
   - Tier One Dyslexia Screening Measure (Dyslexia Screener)
   - Alternative Standardized Assessment for the Third Grade Reading Guarantee (Alt Reading)  
   - Alternative Standardized Assessment for Grades 3-8 (Alt 3-8) for Chartered Nonpublic Schools  
   - Alternative High School Assessments for Graduation (Alt HS) for Chartered Nonpublic Schools  
   - High Quality Student Data (HQSD)  
   - Gifted Prescreening and Identification (Gifted Assessment)  
This process will identify assessments for inclusion on the Approved List of Assessments for the 2022-2023 school year. New approval categories for dyslexia screening are included.  Districts may choose to inform any assessment vendors they wish to be considered that the RFQ has been posted to https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://education.ohio.gov/Topics/Common-Application-for-Requests-for-Qualifications__;!!KGKeukY!i0vlX2M6TiaN296fk7bYooq2j_3mz6aE6jUpBeS50PufDkAxmchhIL9Fs5eSrZbrIpig$ .   Vendors may need to submit for approval even if their tests have been approved previously for use in Ohio. Requirements, submission details, and deadlines are specified in the RFQ. Applications are due March 25th. Contact statetests at education.ohio.gov with questions.
