Department releases spring 2021 test items
Released items from the spring 2021 administration of Ohio’s State Tests now are available in the Ohio’s State Tests portal. The items give educators insight into the kinds of questions students experienced and can inform classroom instruction and assessment. |

Update: Third Grade Reading Guarantee promotion score for 2021-2022
The State Board of Education has voted to set the promotion score of the grade 3 Ohio’s State Test in English Language Arts at 683 for the 2021-2022 school year. Additionally, the Department has set the reading subscore alternative promotion score for the grade 3 English language arts test at 46. |

Town hall prepares districts, business advisory councils for annual plan submission
To prepare business advisory councils to submit annual plans by Sept. 30, the Department and its business partners will host a Business Advisory Council Town Hall. District business advisory council liaisons, business partners and council members can attend the virtual event Aug. 12. |
